FEATURED SPEAKERS BIO

Ross Naylor-Tatterson

Ross was born in a little country mining town in southeastern Australia. His father came to Christ in the town pub when the Salvation Army member shared the gospel, and Ross’s first memories are their brass bands playing. By the time he was a teenager he wasn’t sure if God was real, but when a few kids who had been his ‘enemies’ had transforming experiences with Christ and changed dramatically, he saw God was real.

In the 70’s he became a Jesus freak – complete with guitar, afro, love beads and a passion for God. He joined Youth With A Mission’s (YWAM) discipleship training school in New Zealand, and the 6 month commitment became 10 years of extraordinary experiences across Asia, the Pacific and Europe - learning about the heart of God, how to live a joy-filled life, leadership principles and more. Including finding and marrying his wife, Barbara! They ministered in Hong Kong and Western Australia where he met up with the Vineyard Church and served 8 years and built up to a family of 7.

God led him to Holland Michigan in 2000 where he served as executive pastor of the Lakeshore Vineyard for 5 years and then struck out to begin a new church plant on the north side of Holland. Now Ross juggles ministry in the WOW Center (Without Walls), the Indonesian Partnership, and spreading the vision of the Community of Hope - uniting church, youth and business for the Kingdom.

BLESSING THE NATIONS IN THE 21ST CENTURY

Living Out the Gospel with Wisdom, Integrity & Boldness in a Globalized World

Dr. Rick Love, Consultant for Christian-Muslim Relationships

Globalization, terrorism, and pluralism have irrevocably altered communication in the 21st century. In this globalized, interconnected world - every time we seek to explain who we are, what we believe, what we do, and why we do it - our words are likely to reach beyond our primary audience and enter the global marketplace of ideas. Do we need a paradigm shift to contextualize to what God is doing in the world today? How can we live our lives and promote our message with wisdom, integrity and boldness with everyone, everywhere?

LUKE-ACTS – DR. DEREK MORPHEW

Luke’s writings occupy one-quarter of the New Testament and take us from the birth of Jesus through his life and ministry, death and resurrection, Pentecost and the birth and mission of the church, to the gospel reaching Rome, the capital of the known world. More significantly, Luke follows the kingdom message of Jesus intentionally and shows its first historic outworking. Join us as we explore some features of the big picture, as told in Luke-Acts.
